It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vanessa McAtee (Mount Vernon, Illinois), born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 22, 2018, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ralph Cazenave; her grandson K'Briel McGee; and her great grandchild Lamaria Williams. She is survived by: her parent Shirley Jean Briscoe; her husband William Nelson McAtee III; her children, Samarian Phillips of Indiana, Minyon Blount Mincey of Indiana, Sophia Blount of Indiana, Dortanian Blount (Amber) of Illinois, Shirleta Blount of Illinois and D'Angelo Blount (Jesika) of Missouri; and her siblings, Lindell Blount and Curtis Blount, Jr. (LesLee). She is also survived by thirty grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
