It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Oglesby (Mount Vernon, Illinois), born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on March 24, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sons, Roger Oglesby (Kathy) of Texico and Carl Scott Oglesby of Mount Vernon; her daughter-in-law Susan Oglesby of Mount Vernon; her grandsons, Jason Oglesby (Abby) of Troy, Chris Oglesby (Emily) of Bluford, Jacob Oglesby (Shannon) of Dix and Jerod Oglesby of Mount Vernon; her great grandchildren, Kimber Oglesby, Penny Oglesby, Lydia Oglesby, Wyatt Oglesby, Elizabeth Oglesby and Kimmy Oglesby; her brother Louis Rogers of Bloomington; her nieces, Valerie Quinn and Ann Handley; her parents, Clarence E. and Nelle Rogers (Walker); her husband Carl R. "Dick" Oglesby; her son Kim Richard; her brother Johnny Rogers; and her nephew John Rogers.
