He was predeceased by: his parents, Humberto Bertaud and Guadalupe Bertaud (Colunga); and his children, Richard L. Bertaud and Eudelia Johns. He is survived by: his children, Roy Bertaud, Jr. of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Guadalupe "Lupe" G. Bertaud of Mount Vernon and Christina Ryan (Kevin) of Catalina Island, California. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
