It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Owens (Mount Vernon, Illinois), who passed away on May 21, 2018, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his spouse Angela Fitts; his children, Joshua Hines (Casey) of Honolulu, Jason Hines (Melissa Mellott) of Woodlawn, Brandon Hines and Mallory Witges of Waltonville; his grandchildren, Ali Mellott, Tucker Mellott and Jestine Dozer; his brothers, Max Owens (Jerri Owens), Jim Owens (Connie Owens) and Michael Owens; and also Trey Witges of Waltonville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other special family members and friends.
