He is survived by: his parents, Edward L. Baumgart and Helen Baumgart (Durchholz); his spouse Katherine M. Schnapf; his children, William Baumgart (Gretchen) of Mt. Vernon and Theresa Adams (Tony) of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Savannah Adams, Gabriel Adams and Magdalena Baumgart; his great grandchild Connor Garrett; and his siblings, Robert Baumgart (Janet) of New Haven, Ed Baumgart (Doris) of Mt. Vernon, Lorrie Maxen of Port St and Sherry Dile (Rick) of Evansville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
