He is survived by: his former wife Margaret Ahrens of Austin, TX; his sons, Craig Allan Ahrens of St. Louis, MO and Darren Douglas Ahrens of Austin, TX; and his grandchildren, Blake Ahrens, Sarah Ahrens and Elle Ahrens of St. Louis, MO.
