He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest, Sr. Berkey and Ada Berkey (Kirk). He is survived by: his wife Connie Berkey of Mt. Morris; his daughter Leah of Dixon; his adoptive son Noel of Sterling; and his stepchildren, Tony Lutz of Tulsa, OK and Stacey Morse of Sterling. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
