He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald W. Frey and Virginia Frey (Arbuckle); his grandson Xavier Frey; his siblings, Jarrald Frey and Tina Winder; and his brother-in-law Jim Winder.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Frey of Mt. Morris; his children, Joe Frey, Mitchell Frey, Evan Frey, Adam Frey, Anthony Frey, Justin Frey, Brittney Frey, Holly Gaul and Alan Gaul; and his sisters, Sandy Barton (Dennis) of Alton, Debbie Hutton of Alton and Katrisha Davis (Mark) of Dixon. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
