He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse A. Fortner and Winnie Brown (Sisk); and his siblings, Mary Adams, Ann Elliott, Eddie and David Fortner.
He is survived by: his children, Lois Lowe (Robert) of Evansville and Zachary Fortner (Amanda) of Wadesville, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Taylor Williams (Cody), Trais Lowe, Adrienne Lowe, Jace, Tatum, Blakely, Kyson and Maverick Fortner.
