We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2023, at the age of 74, Darlene S. Askren of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Linden Reed and Pearl Reed (Lambert); her husband Gerald Lee Askren; her daughter Jerri Lynn Askren; her daughter-in-law Kelly Askren; and her siblings, Richard Reed, Linden Reed, Linda Peach, Scott Reed and Jeffrey Reed.
She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Askren (Candy) and Tommy Askren; her grandchildren, Halie, Katie, Hanna, Johnny Jr. and Matthew Askren; her stepgrandchildren, Keisha Wilson and Shantel Reed; and her siblings, Charlotte Lofton (Dick), Brenda Dill (Jim), Bill Reed (Debbie) and David Reed. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
