Violet Fern Schreiber Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Fern Schreiber of Morton, Illinois, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Mitchell and Hazel Mitchell (Berhow); her husband Julius James "Pete" Schreiber; and her son Rev. William Schreiber. She is survived by: her daughters, Bonita Ackron (George) of Mt. Juliet, Alice Fritch (Michael) of Metamora and Judith Lee (John) of Madison, Alabama; her daughter-in-law Karen Schreiber of Preston, Minnesota; and her sister Marie Van Houten of Farmington. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church in Morton.
