He is survived by: his wife Sara Meredith-Young of Morton; his sons, Matthew Young of Morton and Lucas Young (Amanda) of Paxton; his grandchildren, Brady and Lily Young; his siblings, Bill Young (Mary) of Naples, Fla. and Patricia Woolard (Dennis) of Kansas City; and his stepsisters, Pat Anderson (Ed) of Lexexa, Kan and Bonnie Heck (Pat) of Kansas City.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church in Morton.
