He was predeceased by: his parents, George Getz and Lavina Getz (Stoller); his wife Lois Zimmerman; his grandson Tomas Albonico; his great grandchild Belle Barth; and his siblings, Howard, Milly Zimmerman and Edith Getz.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanie Barth (Robert) of Fort Myers, Fla., Sharon Albonico (Sergio) of Tijeras, N. M., Annie Weeks (Allen) of Morton, Mark Getz (Ruth) of Morton and Steve Getz (LeAnne) of Urbandale, Iowa.
