It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Dirst of Morton, Illinois, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Collman and Hulda Collman; and her husband Charles Dirst. She is survived by: her children, Philip Dirst of Smyrna, Julie Shane (Mike Shane) of Morton, Matthew Dirst (Sixto Wagan) of Houston and Emily LaCivita (Tony) of Downers Grove, Ill.; and her grandchildren, Alexander Dirst (Yudy), Jeff Shane, Kevin Shane (Maggie), Alex Shane (Josephine), Katy LaCivita (Claire), Joe LaCivita and Charley LaCivita.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association – Central Illinois Chapter.
