He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Sauder and Bertha Sauder (Laukhuf); his son Jim Vaughn (Connie) of Yatesville; his granddaughters, Stephanie Cox (Travis) of Roswell and Jennifer Vaughn (Rob Taylor) of Braselton; his great grandchildren, Nora, Caleb Cox, Anna and Lily Taylor; his close friend Mary Ann Preston of Morton; and also, Bryan Preston of Bloomington, Ill., Jack Preston of Morton and Katie Preston of Morton.

Memorials may be made to Peoria Rescue Ministries.
