“Carol and I were young teenage girls when we met and became instant friends. She was a gift to everyone who knew her. I have never known anyone who can light up a room the way Carol did. I loved her quick-wit and her sarcasm. I loved her ability to switch from fun to serious when she knew she needed to. She was that friend I could laugh with, cry with, say anything to.
