He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Garrett and Emily Garrett (Cooley); his daughter Pammy Jo Garrett; his grandson J. J. Clayton; and his sisters, Bertha Binder, Maxine Smith, Lorene Gillis, Mary Reed and Orpha VanSkike.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Koehler of Gilbert, AZ, Stacy Cooper of Biggsville, IL, Wendy Brown of Monmouth, IL and Donald E. Garrett, Jr. (Mary) of Monmouth, IL; and his siblings, Diana Wade, Madeline Link of LaHarpe, IL and Freddy Garrett of Donalson, IA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Donald E. Garrett, Sr. Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
