He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mumm and Gladys Peterson Mumm; his siblings, Robert Mumm and Joyce Caldwell; and his son Tony Mumm.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Mumm of Momence, IL.; and his grandchildren, Carol Jean Mumm, Paul Mumm, Nikita, Angel Hampton, Michael Allen and Matthew Allen. He is also survived by twenty-five great grandchildren.
