He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy DeYoung and Opal DeYoung; his sisters, Darlene Rehmer and June DeValk; his wife Margaret; his daughter Janie Westmoreland; and his stepchildren, David Lambert and Debbie Bishir.
He is survived by: his sister Cindy Olsen; his former wife Joyce Dionne; his children, Tammy (Jimmy Jones) and Todd (Kimberly); his pet Mandy; and his stepdaughter Donna (Dennis Johnson). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
