It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lori L. Smit (Momence, Illinois), born in Chicago Heights, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Dan Smit of DeMotte; her children, Jai Anderson (Ashley) of Jackie Paquette, AJ, Jonathan Smit (Jen) and Shannon Smit; her brothers, Dean Stolzenbach (Penny) and Gene Stolzenbach (Mary); her grandchildren, Joseph Murphy, Cody Anderson, Hannah Anderson, Jack Anderson, Ally Bridges (Tyler), Corbin Paquette and Myles Paquette; and her great grandchild Robert.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Beverly K Roberts Cancer Foundation at 8616 N 11000E Road, Grant Park, IL 60940-5263.
