He was predeceased by: his mother Rosa Perez; and his son Willie Ayala. He is survived by: his father Otilio Ayala of Mexico; and his children, Dulce Ayala of Momence, Edgar (Marissa Ayala), Diego Ayala of Momence and Christopher Ayala of Momence. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
