He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Szczech (Shank) and Genavieve Bafia (Shank); and his siblings, Sonny Shanks, Esther Bednarke and Carol Dicharia (Andy).
He is survived by: his wife Tina; his daughters, Cassandra Casey (Sean) and Tamara Bloom (Scott); his grandchildren, Jake Vukelic, Aiden Casey, Reed Casey, Greyson Casey, Hayden Bloom and Harper Bloom; and his sister Vivian Mitcheff (Phil). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
