With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Nelson of Milan, Illinois, born in Mountain View, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2024 at the age of 50. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Michael leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Nelson and Beverly Ann Nelson (Bolduc); and his sister Teda Hartsock. He is survived by: his sister Roberta; his brother-in-law Michael Burriss; his nieces and nephews, James, Robert, Kimberly, Michele, Stephan and Matthew; and his close friend Marty Clark. He is also survived by 13 great nieces and nephews.
