We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2022, at the age of 86, Richard Olaf Matson of Metamora, Illinois, born in Peru, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Matson and Maybelle Matson (Uhlich); and his wife Margaret H. Olson. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Matson (Linda Gehrig) of Germantown Hills and Dale Matson (Sue) of Metamora; his grandchildren, Krysta Brackett (Wes) of Hanna City, IL, Drew Matson (Ashley) of Hanna City, IL and Taylor Miller (Austin) of Germantown Hills; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Josie Matson and Adeline Miller.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Snyder Village Residents in Need Fund, 1200 East Partridge Street, Metamora, IL 61548.
