With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara L. Abel of Metamora, Illinois, who passed away on December 13, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Grebner and Anna Grebner (Nauman); her husband Hugh E. Abel; and her siblings, Helen Best, Lucille Grebner, Harlan Grebner and Martin "Marty" Grebner.
She is survived by: her sons, Allen Abel of Metamora and Stanley Abel of Metamora; and her brothers, James Grebner (Karen) of Romeoville, IL, William Grebner (Mary Jo) of Germantown Hills, IL and Ralph Grebner of East Peoria, IL.
