With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne L. Schultz of Mendota, Illinois, born in Peru, Illinois, who passed away on November 23, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wayne L. Schultz to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent "Packy" Schultz and Marian Schultz (Stuart); his wife Virginia Smith; his great grandchild Alex Heagy; and his siblings, Keith and Gwen Kubera.

He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Wobrock (Linda) of Peru, William Wobrock (Kathy) of Wenona Lake, Kevin Wobrock of West Chicago, Patrick Schultz (Janet) of Madison, Michael Schultz of Independence, Christopher Schultz (Pam) of Oakland and Timothy Schultz (Rhonda) of DeKalb; and his sister Kay Giese (Karol Hetrick) of Peru. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to The Mendota Golf Club or Mendota Lions Club.
