He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thompson and Doris Thompson (Nance); his brother Richard T. Thompson; and his son-in-law Bill Scheppers. He is survived by: his significant other Jackie Shaver of Mendota; his partner's daughter Kim Scheppers-Flanagan (Jeff) of Mendota; his grandchildren, Brandon Scheppers (Alyssa) of Mendota, Cody Scheppers (Katie Falbo) of Los Angeles, CA, Kalli Scheppers (Zach Golding) of Fairview Heights, IL and Colton Scheppers (Jessica Valdez) of Johnstown, CO; his great grandchildren, Hadley and Tate Scheppers; and his brothers, Don Thompson (Donna) of Oglesby, Jim Thompson of Winchester, VA, Larry Thompson (Denise) of Oglesby and Mark Thompson (Chris) of Oglesby. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
