It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Carlson of Mendota, Illinois, born in Rochelle, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Carlson and Mildred Carlson (Miller); and his son Patrick Carlson. He is survived by: his children, Tonya Carlson of Oregon and Josh Carlson (Beth) of Wheaton; his brother Eugene Carlson (Janice) of Holcomb; his grandchildren, Skylar Carlson, Devin Carlson, Adam Carlson and Danielle Carlson; his nephews, Mark Carlson of Arizona, Brett Carlson (Deb) of Holcomb and Bradley Carlson of Missouri; his great-niece Layla Carlson of Missouri; and his pet Hippy.
