With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Wesley of Mendota, Illinois, born in Climax, Georgia, who passed away on August 6, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Owens and Eunice Owens (Harrell); her daughter Janice Ortiz (Happ); her brothers, Cecil, Junior and Wilbert; her daughter Patsy; and her great grandchild Kayla Vickery.
She is survived by: her children, William Happ of Compton and Barb Atwell (Happ) of Phoenix; her siblings, Tony Page of Dublin, Georgia and Pearl Maxwell of Bainbridge, Georgia; her son-in-law Felix Ortiz; and her grandchildren, Michelle McCaffity (Matt Eddy), Jerry Tribble, Jason Atwell, Christopher Atwell, Ashley Denman (Randall), Kyle Happ and Brittany Happ. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
