It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Kimrey of Mendota, Illinois, born in Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Slaughter and Helen Slaughter (McCormick); her husband Paul Kimrey; her brothers, John Thomas Slaughter and Frank Slaughter; her grandson Andrew Paul Kimrey; and her great grandchild Angela Rose Novak.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Kimrey (Sharon), Kathy Dungan (Otis), Tim Kimrey (Donna) and Mary Helen Kimrey; her brothers, Jim Slaughter (Dolores), Phil Slaughter (Betty), Pat Slaughter (Sharon) and Mark Slaughter; her grandchildren, Ashley Kimrey-Phillips (James), Grant Dungan, Molly Dungan Novak (Michael), Dr. Aja Kimrey-Letterly (Nick) and Cale Kimrey; her great grandchildren, Kayne, Graham, Quinn, Malia and Elise; and her stepgrandchildren, Michael Reppin, Niki Chapman, Chad Hamel, Tara Backes and Casey Hamel.
