With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orpha C. Goekler of Marshall, Illinois, born in Charleston, Illinois, who passed away on September 16, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude P. Bower and Ruth Lanman Bower; her son Jeff Goekler; and her brothers, Ray Bower, Lowell Bower and Dwain Bower.
She is survived by: her husband Lewis Goekler; her daughters, Susan Maurer (Bill) of Marshall, IL, Amy Cannady (Paul) of Marshall, IL and Sara Tarble (John) of Marshall, IL; and her grandchildren, Riley Maurer (Ashley), Kate Douglas (Anthony), Molly Hardiman (Brandon), Jacob Cannady (Jessica), Abby Adamski (Eric), Logan Cannady (Callie Keys), Josh Tarble (Leslie), Whitney Boyer (Steve) and Mackenzie Tarble. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
