We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2021, at the age of 77, Harriette Shimanek of Marshall, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred DeHaan and Harriette DeHaan; her husband Henry Carl Shimanek; and her sons, Daniel Shimanek and Charles Shimanek.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Dressel (Richard) of Marshall, Illinois, David Shimanek (Marianne) of Lake Lure, Fred Carrigan of Portland and Joe Carrigan (Abrill Ellis) of Portland, Indiana; her daughter-in-law Pam Shimanek of Riverside, California; and her brother Lonnie DeHaan (Pat) of Bourbonnais, Illinois. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
