She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Carpenter and Katie Shotts Carpenter; her husband Lloyd Rogers; her daughter Peggy Asher; her sister Margaret Pine; her son Steven Rogers (Debbie) of Marshall; her grandchildren, Josh Sanders (Jillian), Lisa Myles (Andy) and David Rogers; and her great grandchildren, Trenton Sanders, Alliysann Sanders, Clayton Sanders, Alexis Myles, Hannah Myles, Kamilah Rogers, Kamadah Rogers and Lyle Spooner.
