He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Sport" and Louise; and his brother L. Dale of North Carolina. He is survived by: his children, Tami and Jeffrey Dean "JD"; and his brother Don "Red". He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
