She is survived by: her husband Clarence Benson of Ottawa; her sons, Chris Benson (Kari) of Paw Paw and Carl Benson of Marseilles; her grandchildren, Samuel, Ella, Abby, Christopher, Ruthie, Carl Jr. and Caitlyn Benson; and her siblings, Franklin Smith of Dillion, SC, Peggy Howell of Hartsville, SC, Larry Smith of Earlville and Susan Walker of Oswego.
