He is survived by: his wife Janet Diaz of Marseilles; his children, David Villanova, Tony Diaz (Nikki Bryant) and Angel Sanchez (Liz); and his siblings, Rick Carlino (Karen), Fran Johnson (Mike), Linda Vanderlann (Larry) and Sam P. Carlino (Leisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
