He is survived by: his wife Violet Mae Winter of Marion; his children, Donna Kay Restivo of St. Louis, Rebecca Diane Winter of Nashville, Crystal Owens (Jimmy) of Scott City, Jennifer Miller (Bob) of Johnston City and Jack Winter II (Renée) of Nashville; and his brother Tom Winter (Barb) of Orlando. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
