He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Gerber and Lloyd Leon Cavaness; his stepmother Ella Mae Cavaness; and his siblings, Paul Cavaness, Patricia Potts and Pamela Westlake.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Irlene Cavaness, Lona Mae White (Jeff), Meagan Victoria Williams of Granite City, IL, Laura Renee Dotzauer of Thonotosassa, FL and Harry Robert Cavaness Jr. of Granite City; his brother David R. Cavaness (Carol) of Marine, IL; and his friend Karen Gahlen of Marine, IL.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
