He was predeceased by: his parents, Freemon H. Schmidt and Cornelia L. Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Betty R. Schmidt; his children, Beth A. Alldredge (Michael) and Scott D. Schmidt (Sheri); his grandchildren, Dustin Alldredge (Chelsey) of Edwardsville, IL., Derek Alldredge (Cayle) of Edwardsville, IL., Lindsey Wasser (Chris) of Edwardsville, IL., Kayla Wuebbels (Austin) of Edwardsville, IL. and Austin Schmidt (Finacee Chloe) of Marine, IL; his great grandchildren, Landry Wasser, Briar Wasser, Allyssa Alldredge, Brody Alldredge, Benett Alldredge, Cruz Alldredge, Reese Wuebbels and Wyatt Wuebbels; and his siblings, Raymond H. Schmidt, David L. Schmidt (Jane) and Margene M. "Marge" Edwards.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Ronald McDonald House or Eden Church.
