He is survived by: his wife Shirley Caperton of Marine, IL; his children, Eddie Caperton (Leasa) of Highland, IL and James Caperton (Tressa); his grandchildren, Megan Kovarik (Jeremy), Zachary Caperton and Brooke Caperton; his great grandchild Henry David Kovarik; and his brother Steven Brecheen.
