It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher S. Zimmer (Marine, Illinois), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on August 4, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Zimmer Jr. and Gladys C. (Suessdorf); and his brother Lee B. Zimmer. He is survived by: his wife Debra Zimmer (Hanson); and his children, Valerie Zimmer of Chicago, Illinois, Rachel Martin (Jacob) of Scotts Valley, CA, Megan Zimmer of Bridgeport, CT, Lenore Herndon (Samuel) of Jackson, MO, Douglas Zimmer (Holly), Adam Bohnenstiehl (LeAnn) and Aaron Bohnenstiehl (Sherrie Ann). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Chris may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ.
