She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Gordon and Aileen Gordon (McCord); her former husband Russell E. Kasting, Sr.; her siblings, Phyllis Boone and George Gordon; and her stepson John Battles.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen E. Battles; her siblings, Sandy Fleming (Russell) and Thomas Gordon (Elsie); her children, Russell E. Kasting, Jr. (Jamie), Glenn Kasting (Jeannie), David Battles (Kerry), Donald Battles Sr. (Kristi), Mark Battles, Luke Battles (Charlena) and Susan Battles; and her grandchildren, Carolyn Bailey, Melissa Kasting (Karl), Jason Kasting (Amy), Cameron Kasting, Crystal Cox (James), James Kasting, Holly Hemphill, Byron Morris, Stephanie Waters, Joshua Battles, Donald Battles Jr., Andrea Battles, Keeleigh Mouser (Damon), Michael Shoniger, Robert (Bejay), Shoniger (Laura), Chaunta Davis (Craig), Samuel Battles, Abigail Glezen, Melissa Smith, Leah Heubner (Nub), Ashley Bratcher (Tony), Lucas Battles, Mallena Battles and Allena Martin (Blake). She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
