We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2020, at the age of 86, John M Paulsen (Marengo, Illinois), born in Clare, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul C. Paulsen and Lillian Paulsen (Johnson); his son David Paulsen; and his siblings, Paul, Adolph, Russell Paulsen, Louise Petty, Margaret Crego, Mary Smith and Christine Dieterlen.

He is survived by: his children, John Kevin Paulsen (Chuck Joe) of Las Vegas, NV, Lonnie Brint (Kevin) of Sycamore, Donald Paulsen (Jean) of Sycamore, Jaelyn Paulsen and Daniel Paulsen (Tracy) of Queen Creek, AZ; his grandchildren, Jodi McCall (Kevin), Carol Slutz (Brad), Adam Paulsen, Amber Clendening (Craig), Cody Paulsen and Tristan Paulsen; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Zach McCall, Jaedyn, Drake Slutz and Baby Clendening; his brother Jim Paulsen (Roberta) of Genoa, Illinois; and his close friend Penny Shavit. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salem Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
