It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Ruth Poppe (Marengo, Illinois), who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene Ruth Poppe to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Telschow and Mathilda Telschow; and her siblings, Frederick Telschow, Earl Telschow, Louise Rudy and Jean Anne Telschow.

She is survived by: her husband Rodney Poppe; her children, Linda Greenhagen (Jeff), Ellen Doescher (Dave), Steve Poppe and Karen Poppe; her grandchildren, Rochelle, Kristin, Elissa, Meredith and Serena; and her great grandchild Hailey Rose.

Due to current circumstances, masks will be required, social distancing should be practiced and a maximum capacity will be allowed in the Funeral Home at a given time (based on current guidelines, which are subject to change).
