He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hewitt and Edith Hewitt; his wife Charlotte Davis; his stepson Tom Davis; and his siblings, Lester, LaVere, Leon, Carlyle, Robert, Ellwyn, Mable and Neva.

He is survived by: his stepgrandson Brian Davis; his daughter-in-law Lyn Davis; and his sister-in-law Doloris Wolf. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
