With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenn Francis Gill of Manhattan, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Gill and Loretta Gill (Nee Heisner); his brother Norman; his sister-in-law Carolyn Gill; his sister Marlene; and his brother-in-law Erwin Goodwin.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gill; his children, Roger Gill (Lori), Annette Gill and Barbara Steffen (Matt); his grandchildren, Steven Gill (Carrie), Matthew Gill (Kori), Teresa Moore (Nick Schmidt), Luke Steffen and Abigail Steffen; his great grandchildren, Ariana Varkalis (J. C.), Brandon Rose, Celeste Vuollet (Isabella), Marissa Cornell and Kyler Cornell; his great great grandchildren, Orion and Ares Varkalis; and his siblings-in-law, Kendall Krapf (Shirley) and Elaine Kaske. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Glenn's name to Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 would be most appreciated.
