She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Smith and Letitia Smith (Heussner); her son Darren Hoyt; and her siblings, David Smith and Josephine Talbott.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Hoyt (Jill) of Louisville and Kimberly Smith (Greg) of Louisville; and her sister Dorothy Grenia of Saint Louis, MO. She is also survived by children and seven great grand children.
