He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Frye and Rosie Frye (Reed); his wife Mary Ann Bay; his grandsons, Bryon Williams and Dale Nicholson; and his siblings, Vera Colclasure, Dora Gharst, Glen Frye and Lela Mae Douglas.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Frye (Diane) of Louisville, Pat Barber (Ray) of Louisville, Dottie Nicholson (Jerry) of Xenia and Linda Griffy (Roger) of Louisville; and his grandchildren, Melissa Krumerich (Brian Mitchell), Mike Frye (Angie), Tracy Williams, Jeremy Barber (Becky), Christy Fulk, Craig Lewis (Ashley), John Nicholson (Carla) and Jason Griffy. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Harlen's memory to the Donor's Choice.
