It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Sachau of Louisville, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Eugene "Gene" and Emma Jean Sachau (Haga); and his siblings, Ron Sachau, Vicki Newby, Carl Sachau, Michael Sachau, Cathy Stevens and Lisa Sachau.
He is survived by: his aunt Donna McMorris; and his caregiver Patricia Smith.
