He was predeceased by: his wife Jane L. Pierson (Nee Love); his son Thomas Pierson; his parents, Edward Pierson and Lettie Pierson (Nee Kerrison); his siblings, Ida Mae Pierson and R. Earl Pierson; and his niece Jeanie Jacobsen.
He is survived by: his son Jim Pierson (Cheryl) of Lockport; and his daughter-in-law Mary Pierson. He is also survived by grandchildren and 11 adored great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lightways Hospice in Russell's name would be greatly appreciated.
